I wrote my first piece of code for a hardware interface in Basic when I was 11 (circa ’80s), built my first wheeled robot when I was 12, sold its services for 50c per interaction, and probably made it the first-ever Wizard-of-Oz study using a robot!. And art influences my work as a roboticist.
